I studied graphic design because I knew how to program video games and it seemed related. I ended up making infographics in newspapers.
On the internet, infographics were interactive. I learned Flash and programmed in AS3. When Flash died, I learned web development.
I added 3D models to infographics. Instead of art & special effects, modelling felt more like building. I discovered technical drawing.
Stone carving applies design and 3D. This turned serious when I went to stonemasonry school, to restore heritage sites.
