Web-development is hard to archive and showcase:

  1. Collaborative by nature: “the work I did” is just part of a whole

  2. The web is alive: dependencies break and evolve

  3. Projects never end: When is a web site/app “done”?

Although most code is private, here is my commit history:

  • I started on the Apple IIe and MS-DOS (with a 2400 baud modem).
  • I saw Flash come and go (and live again?).
  • I used JQuery, Grunt, Gulp… Learned it, forgot it. After trying Backbone, Knockout, Ember and Angular, I was an early adopter of React around 2015. I’m glad that it remains popular and relevant in 2022. This website was created in React as a PWA, and then NextJS for server-side rendering.
